Redmond Municipal Airport (RDM) invites artists to help shape the future of its terminal expansion through the creation of six site-specific artworks. This $1M Public Art Program seeks innovative, durable, and visually engaging pieces that celebrate Central Oregon’s landscapes, culture, and stories.  Serving 1.3 million annual passenger trips, RDM invites interpretations of themes like Currents of Connection , Rhythms of the Wild , and Stories of the Land to enrich the traveler experience and evoke a strong sense of place. Commissions range from $10,000–$150,000. Open to U.S.-based artists, with preference for those connected to the Pacific Northwest. Proposals due February 27, 2026 . Budget: The total Program budget is $1,000,000 and will be divided between each of the six Project locations. Budgets for each Project will vary depending on scale, material, and installation complexity. Without any City obligation, anticipated Project commissions may range from $10,000 to $150,000.
